Zipline

Zipline

Written by Alex

As I queued up for the zipline I started having second thoughts like, “Is it safe?”, “Where is it made?”
But it was too late, I had already paid for the ride. I went up to the instructor and he put my harness on and gave me a sleadd handle. I went up the stairs and he attached me to the line.

The instructor told me how to position myself, and then he let me go and I went whizzing down the zipline! As I got to the halfway point my sleadd handle busted and one of the wheels fell down and hit an old man on the head! "OI! HOW DARE YOU!" shouted the old man.

"SORRY!" I shouted back at him.

I didn’t know what to do! I just had to keep my grip on the broken sleadd handle. I could see that I was getting close to the end of the cable.

I felt a snap and started falling through the air.

CRASH!!

SMASH!! went my alarm clock.

I was breathing heavily and my heart was beating so hard it was quite painful.

I took my blankets off and got out of bed. I looked out of the window and saw someone whizzing past on the zipline.

THE END
