New Story By Mudga!
Three lands, three rulers, three peacemakers, one big war.
Guess what? Mudga is writing another exciting story!
Here is the prolugue (enjoy, and I will post the whle story soon!)
Her face is cold, hard as stone, shadowed, hidden underneath her black cape. She walks, her cape billowing out behind her, as she whips past the heavily armed guards.
“Tanesha.” King Heem says, his voice old, and worn by his years.
“You knew?” Tanesha asks, glancing behind her as guards surround her, pointing dazzling, ruby encrusted swords at her. She smiles ever so slightly, perfectly she lifts one eyebrow at the guards. “Well, well, well. Come to take my coat?” With one swift move her hooded cape drops to the floor, and her leather booted foot ever so slightly kicks the cape towards the guards.
King Heem watches Tanesha, his eyes piercing and grey, just like the rest of his drained body. “I knew” he finally says, leaning back in his throne, his hands fumbling with his crown.
King Heem inspects the girls face, jet black hair shrouds her face, and equally dark eyes gaze at him.
“I am here on behalf of my people, the real rulers of this land.” Tanesha says, eyeing this so-called king.
“If you're here to threaten me then leave, I am the ruler here. Not your murderous King, but if there is something you want, then continue” King Heen watches the girl, her stare pierces as if she can see through him.
“Give me what you promised,”
King Heem raises his scarred hand ever so slightly, “I promised you nothing” he answers plainly, almost whispering, as his voice falters reguly.
“Father, you know what you owe me. Give what you promised all those years ago. I have waited far longer than needed.” Tanesha growles, she was sick of waiting for her old useless Father.
King Heem’s face clouds with sorrow, his eyes brim with tears at the memory.
“Patience…. is the... key” King Heem speaks in a weak whisper. A guard grabs at Tanesha’s wrist. “He needs to rest. Get out before you make me do something bad” the guard says through gritted teeth. “NO!” Tanesha breaks away and runs full speed at King Heem.
“I want it now!” she screams in anger. King Heem shakes his head with great effort. “Your brother is getting it....Announced yesterday, you will never be queen…. After what.. You did”
Tanesha shakes her head in anger. She grits her teeth, and with one last glance at her father, she does what she had planned to do all those years ago.
“You're going to regret that” she whispers, before pulling her pocket knife out of her belt. The knife finds its target.
The guards stare in horror at their dead king. Speachless.
“Let that be a message to all you lowly people. Long live King Harn!” she shouts, and not even glancing at her father, she runs, pulling her cape over her head, and once again, she is merely a shadowed figure, black against the night sky.
