Walking In The Dust

 Walking In The Dust

Walking round, round and round.

Everything silent, not a single sound.

Australian bush, dry and green.

Dingoes and koalas, hidden, unseen.

I’m Walking in the dust.

Guntrees, large, looming up ahead.

Crisp leaves, green brown and red.

Birds singing, noise filling the air.

Lizards staring, without a care.

I’m walking in the dust.

Hot, ozzie sun beating down.

Bushrangers walking with a frown.

Crocs slinking in the murky lake.

I’m Terrified, my life's at stake.

I’m walking in the dust.

Kangaroos jumping around.

Hunters with dead animals bound.

Wagons driving over stones.

Dingo licked animal bones.

I’m walking in the dust.
