Short poems
Last week I was wed,
to a man with a very orange head.
He threw up there,
all over my hair,
And that was how we wed.
***
Last week my mother made,
delicious lemonade.
I'm called Lizzie,
It was fizzy,
Lizzie's lemonade.
***
Hey Miss Gale,
there's gonna be hail!
Call me Katy,
Aye, Aye matey
***
A B C D E,
say hello to me.
F G H I J,
hello to me you say.
K L M N O,
me you to say hello.
P Q R S T,
hello to you say me.
U V W X Y,
my mind's gone blank says I.
The last letter is Z,
I'm off to go to bed!
***
You'll be a writer some day,
Sang little miss Hay.
I nodded my head,
As I went to bed,
Where I slept till the very next day.
to a man with a very orange head.
He threw up there,
all over my hair,
And that was how we wed.

I love your imagination with words!
