Most fires are started by frogs

 

Did you ever know, that most fires are started by frogs?

No? Well then, now you know.

Oh? You are still confused? You want me to explain? Well I suppose I could, but it will have to be short as I have a dentist appointment very soon.

It all started when I went on an adventure to the forests of Therslomo. As an explorer, I visit a new country every…

What now?

Oh don’t tell me you didn’t know I was an explorer as well!

You didn’t know!?

Don’t you know anything?

Well carrying on, I had arrived in Therslomo, and was climbing a tree when I saw a streak of fire shooting down beneath me. I immediately thought, oh look, it’s a fire frog! You see, from when you have seen a frog, a lot of them have marks on their backs.

No!?

You haven’t ever seen a frog?

Now this is just awful!

Alright, alright I’ll get on with it. Just don’t ever say you have never seen a frog before!

So I immediately climbed down the tree and easily caught the frog with my net. I then proceeded to put on the song, Hello, by Adele, which frogs love! Then to the beat of the music, I tapped each of the marks on the frog’s back. As I knew it would, this produced a flame of fire, which set my beard alight! It was a delightful feeling! Then, as I had thought, other frogs emerged and began setting the whole forest on fire! The whole experience was truly sensational!

Why are you laughing?!

It was amazing!

Oh you don’t believe me?

Well then. Well then.

Stop laughing!!!

I do have proof you know!

Yes I do!! I took a picture! Look, see there it is. Now see if you don’t believe me. Heh.

NEW CHALLENGE: A Family Portrait

  The Family Portrait  challenge!     Everyone get your pens out (or your laptop) because there is an exciting new writing challenge coming up!!   THE CHALLENGE:  The When Weirdos Write crew will split into two teams, the boys, and the girls. In their team they must write a family portrait. Now, what is a family portrait? Glad you asked! A family portrait is a realistic fictional story that focuses on one family. The rest is up to you!  But wait!  There's more to this challenge then just writing a simple family portrait with your team members! This challenge has a due date!  Each team must submit their story by the 1st of November!   Once each story has been submitted, the when weirdos write followers and readers will comment on whose story they like best!
