Daydreamer
Daydreamer.
Silent to the world, a sight unseen.
I am a dreamer who will always dream.
Colourless birds and oceans stilled.
Is what keeps my head filled.
Unconscious to the world, in my own land.
I sit alone on my beach, on my sand.
I close my eyes and start to dream.
Dreaming of a land where nothing’s as it seems.
Finally alone, where I want to be.
In my daydreams I am forgotten and free.
I travel miles, yet never leave my seat.
In dreams I can harvest fruits and wheat.
Convinced I will never leave my land.
Once again, sadly, I must stand.
Walking slowly away from my beach.
Away from my world that is just out of reach.
I come back to Earth, where everything is the same.
Where even the wildest of beasts are tame.
Earth, where I must be someone else.
Earth, where I can not be myself.
Everyday, I dream something new.
Dreaming of lands and special people, people just like you.
Oh my!!!!!!!!!! That is truly incredible! I looooove it, you are such a good poet!!!
